Nikon Launches STABILIZED Binocular Series

Nikon Launches STABILIZED Binocular Series

In October 2024, Nikon Inc. unveiled its new STABILIZED binocular series, a significant advancement in compact optics technology that continues to resonate in the industry as of May 2025.

The series includes two models: the STABILIZED 10×25 S and STABILIZED 12×25 S, designed for outdoor enthusiasts, birdwatchers, and travelers seeking portability without compromising performance.

Weighing just 13.9 oz for the 12×25 S model, these binoculars are ultra-lightweight and foldable, making them easy to carry on extended adventures.

The standout feature is Nikon’s Optical Stabilization System, which reduces image vibrations by approximately 80%, ensuring clear and stable views even during hand-held use or in windy conditions.

Powered by two AA batteries, the binoculars offer up to 12 hours of continuous operation, with an auto-power shut-off after 60 minutes to conserve energy.

Additional features include multilayer lens and prism coatings, a silver-alloy mirror coating for enhanced brightness, and ergonomic elements like a large focusing ring and turn-and-slide rubber eyecups for comfortable viewing.

Priced at $639.95 for the 10×25 S and $649.95 for the 12×25 S, the binoculars became available in early November 2024.

This launch underscores Nikon’s commitment to blending precision optics with innovative technology, catering to both recreational and professional users in the binoculars market.
